“The Viability of the Two-State Solution in the Palestinian Context”
RO’A Center for Political and Strategic Studies held a two-day seminar that brought together a distinguished group of experts, academics, representatives of institutions and the private sector, and young people to discuss research papers examining the current state of the two-state solution and the possibilities for its implementation in the Palestinian context.
The seminar featured the presentation of three research papers:

“Mapping Palestinian Stakeholders and Strategic Deepening around the Two-State Solution,” presented by Professor Nabil Al-Jundi.

“Transforming the International Vision of the Two-State Solution into an Implementable Option in the Palestinian Context: Multi-Track Diplomacy for Change,” prepared by Thabat Center for Research and Opinion Polls and presented by Jehad Harb.

“The Viability of the Two-State Solution in Light of Israeli Policies on the Ground,” prepared by RO’A Center for Political and Strategic Studies. The paper begins with a central question: How have Israeli policies on the ground—from settlement expansion and settler violence to the Judaization of Jerusalem and the consolidation of control over land and resources—transformed the two-state solution from a political project into a rhetorical framework lacking the conditions required for practical viability?
The seminar brought together representatives of the private sector, research institutions, academics, former ministers, young people, and experts and advisers in negotiation affairs. Their discussions addressed the challenges facing the two-state solution today and the possible options for the future.
