RO’A’s research aims to produce critical, strategic, and decolonial knowledge that strengthens Palestinian socio-political representation, fosters unity across generational and geographical divides, and situates Palestine within regional and global conversations. We position ourselves as a bridge between critical scholarship and policy-relevant strategic studies, producing work that is rigorous, relevant, and responsive to unfolding events.

Israeli Parties: More Alike Than Apart
The paper argues that a change in the Israeli government does not necessarily guarantee a substantive shift in policies toward Palestinians. While political parties are sharply divided over domestic issues, most Zionist parties share a broad common ground in subordinating Palestinian rights to Israeli security priorities. The paper reviews the parties and electoral lists competing in the 2026 elections and compares their positions on Palestinian statehood, occupation, settlement expansion and annexation, the future of Gaza, Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, regional relations, and crimes against Palestinians inside Israel. It also links these positions to their disagreements over the judiciary, Haredi conscription, religion and state, and participation in a government led by Netanyahu.

The Two-State Solution in the Political Consciousness of the Palestinian Elite
This study explores Palestinian stakeholder perspectives on the viability of the Two-State Solution, national priorities, political representation, and the conditions needed for meaningful national dialogue. Based on a survey of **301 stakeholders across the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem**, it maps areas of consensus, divergence, and the changing political perceptions shaping possible future pathways.

Palestinian Stakeholder Mapping Study
The Palestinian Stakeholder Mapping Study examines the actors shaping processes, decisions, and conflict-resolution dynamics within the Palestinian context. Moving beyond traditionally recognized political leadership, the study maps a broad range of political, civil society, grassroots, professional, economic, media, international, diaspora, and other actors to better understand their roles, interests, influence, and levels of engagement.
