RO’A’s research aims to produce critical, strategic, and decolonial knowledge that strengthens Palestinian socio-political representation, fosters unity across generational and geographical divides, and situates Palestine within regional and global conversations. We position ourselves as a bridge between critical scholarship and policy-relevant strategic studies, producing work that is rigorous, relevant, and responsive to unfolding events.

The Two-State Solution in the Political Consciousness of the Palestinian Elite
This study explores Palestinian stakeholder perspectives on the viability of the Two-State Solution, national priorities, political representation, and the conditions needed for meaningful national dialogue. Based on a survey of **301 stakeholders across the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem**, it maps areas of consensus, divergence, and the changing political perceptions shaping possible future pathways.

Palestinian Stakeholder Mapping Study
The Palestinian Stakeholder Mapping Study examines the actors shaping processes, decisions, and conflict-resolution dynamics within the Palestinian context. Moving beyond traditionally recognized political leadership, the study maps a broad range of political, civil society, grassroots, professional, economic, media, international, diaspora, and other actors to better understand their roles, interests, influence, and levels of engagement.

Perspectives into The Palestinian Political System: Perceptions, Challenges, and Pathways for Reform
❏ This study seeks to analyze public perceptions of the Palestinian political system, focusing on its legitimacy, effectiveness, and inclusivity amid ongoing unrest and fragmentation. By collecting diverse perspectives through surveys and focus groups, the research aims to provide nuanced, evidence-based insights that can guide efforts to build a more representative, accountable, and unified political system responsive to the varied experiences and aspirations of Palestinians across regions and demographics. ❏ The Institute for Social and Economic Progress (ISEP), in cooperation with Center for Political and Strategic Studies (Roa), conducted this representative poll in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem between the 10th-19th of July, 2025.
