As part of the second phase of the second cohort of the Mersat Program, RO’A Center organized a training session on Strategic Communication and Negotiations, led by trainer Yousef Abed Al Qader.
The training focused on strengthening young participants’ ability to communicate strategically, articulate their positions clearly, and engage more effectively in negotiation processes. Through interactive exercises and practical discussions, participants explored how communication can be used not only to convey ideas, but also to understand different perspectives, manage disagreement, and build more constructive dialogue.
The session also introduced participants to key negotiation concepts, including preparation, identifying interests, developing persuasive arguments, and responding to challenging situations through interactive exercises. By connecting these skills to real-life experiences, the training encouraged participants to reflect on how strategic communication and negotiation can support their personal, professional, and civic engagement.
This activity forms part of RO’A Center’s broader commitment to strengthening youth capacities and creating spaces where young people can develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to participate meaningfully in their communities.
