RO’A Center’s team met with the Palestinian Central Elections Commission (CEC), a partner of RO’A, to present the Center’s Palestinian Elections Database and GIS Dashboard and discuss its potential as a resource for electoral research, analysis, and public access to information.
During the meeting, the team presented the platform’s structure and demonstrated how it brings together more than 15 years of Palestinian electoral data through interactive maps, statistical tables, charts, and regional and historical comparisons. The dashboard allows users to navigate electoral districts, compare results across different election cycles, and explore patterns and changes in the Palestinian electoral landscape.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange feedback with the CEC on the platform and explore how RO’A’s research and data-visualization work can complement the Commission’s expertise and institutional knowledge. The exchange forms part of RO’A’s broader approach to working with Palestinian institutions and partners to make political knowledge and data more accessible, usable, and connected to public engagement.
