Mersat Cohort 2 Concludes with Training on Lobbying and Advocacy Skills
From 1–3 October 2026, RO’A Center for Political and Strategic Studies held a three-day training on Lobbying and Advocacy Skills, marking the conclusion of Mersat – Cohort 2.
The training provided participants with practical knowledge and tools to better understand advocacy processes, identify relevant stakeholders and decision-makers, develop clear advocacy objectives and messages, and think strategically about influencing policies and public decision-making.
The workshop built on the knowledge and skills developed throughout the Mersat journey, which aims to equip Palestinian youth with the tools, awareness, and capacities needed to engage more actively in their communities and in socio-political life.
At the conclusion of the training, participants reflected on their learning throughout the program and received certificates recognizing their completion of Mersat – Cohort 2, bringing this cycle of learning, dialogue, and youth engagement to a close.
