Intern at RO'A
The internship offers an opportunity to contribute to the Center’s ongoing work while developing a broad understanding of how research, public dialogue, institutional communications, and project implementation come together. The intern will work closely with the RO’A team and support activities across different departments and projects.
Main Responsibilities
The intern may contribute to:
- Conducting background research on political, social, economic, and strategic issues related to Palestine and the region.
- Supporting the preparation, editing, translation, and formatting of research papers, policy briefs, reports, and institutional materials.
- Assisting with the organization and documentation of seminars, workshops, conferences, and public discussions.
- Supporting project coordination, including communication with participants, speakers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Preparing content for the Center’s website and social media platforms.
- Assisting with visual, archival, and documentary research.
- Preparing meeting notes, summaries, presentations, and activity reports.
- Supporting administrative and logistical tasks related to the Center’s programs and daily operations.
- Contributing ideas to ongoing projects and participating in internal discussions and planning processes.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should:
- Be current university students or recent graduates in political science, international relations, law, economics, social sciences, media, communications, architecture, design, or another relevant field.
- Have a strong interest in Palestinian political, social, and strategic issues.
- Possess good research, writing, and communication skills.
- Be able to work responsibly, collaboratively, and independently.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Have good Arabic and English language skills.
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Office and common digital communication tools.
Previous professional experience is not required. The internship is designed for individuals seeking to develop their skills, gain practical institutional experience, and contribute meaningfully to research and public engagement in Palestine.
